End-of-Year Portfolio Exhibit: (Heritage, Community, and Sustainability)
The end-of-year exhibit functioned as a capstone showcase integrating project-based learning initiatives, including the Multimedia Heritage Quilt (cross-generational oral history), sustainable community drawings, and mixed-media visual research projects. Students presented interview transcripts, visual narratives, design artifacts, and final artworks together in a public exhibition, translating research, family histories, environmental inquiry, and artistic process into their own body of work. The exhibit emphasized reflection, critique, and audience-facing communication, positioning students as artists, researchers, storytellers, and civic participants whose work connected personal memory to collective community and environmental responsibility.
